At The Lilee Cottage, we believe every flower tells a story—and this one was pure romance. Inspired by the architecture and grace of French châteaus, this editorial at Château Nouvelle was a dream brought to life in collaboration with a talented team of luxury wedding creatives. From couture fashion to overflowing florals and refined design, this shoot was crafted to inspire modern couples seeking an elevated, fashion-forward wedding celebration.
Designing Elegance: A Vision of Modern Romance
What began as a bridal-focused concept blossomed into a full-scale wedding editorial with a singular goal: to highlight the artistry and expertise of each vendor while creating an impactful, sophisticated narrative. Spearheaded by Kobie Ryan Photography and Events by Lovely, this shoot celebrated the fine details that define luxury—delicate linens, crystal glassware, timeless gowns, and, of course, garden-inspired florals in dreamy pastel tones.
The Floral Story
As the floral designer, my vision was to create arrangements that felt soft and refined, yet abundant—evoking the feeling of walking through the grounds of a European garden estate. Pale peach, blush, white, and blue blooms were paired with delicate greenery and layered textures for movement and whimsy. We filled grand urns with hydrangea, delphinium, stock, lisianthus, and garden roses, flanked the steps of the château with cascading floral installations, and created a romantic tablescape lush with blooms and soft candlelight.
One of my favorite floral moments was the fireplace installation indoors—lush, dramatic, and designed to anchor the room with floral grandeur. It framed our bride model in a moment of quiet beauty and bridal grace, capturing everything I love about floristry: storytelling, emotion, and divine creativity.
A Luxury Vendor Collaboration
From the couture gowns provided by Whittington Bridal to the classic Rolls-Royce getaway car from Royal Coach Classic Limo, every detail reflected a deep level of intention. It was a joy to work with such a cohesive and passionate vendor team:
