At The Lilee Cottage, we believe wedding flowers should tell a story — one filled with beauty, meaning, and a touch of whimsy. This romantic garden-inspired wedding at Addison Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, was a perfect reflection of that vision.
We designed lush, full-bloom floral arrangements for this spring wedding, creating an atmosphere that felt both elevated and organic. The bride carried a hand-tied bridal bouquet filled with garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, and textural accents in a soft, romantic palette of blush, ivory, and buttery yellow. With a loose, airy shape and natural movement, the bouquet was the embodiment of a garden in full bloom — delicate, joyful, and deeply feminine.
For the ceremony, we created two large floral pillars that anchored the altar space. Overflowing with pastel blooms and lush greenery, these floral installations brought a whimsical, English garden feel to the natural, light-filled venue. Framing the bride and groom with intentional asymmetry and softness, the design created a sacred space for heartfelt vows — blending elegance and nature in one timeless moment.
Inside the reception, we carried the garden aesthetic through the floral centerpieces. Long tables featured low, sprawling arrangements that mimicked the look of flowers growing naturally across the table. To deepen the sense of abundance and seasonal joy, we added fresh citrus fruits nestled among the blooms — oranges, lemons, and limes brought in a vibrant, summery touch that perfectly complemented the soft florals. These organic details embodied the couple’s playful, loving spirit and added a fresh burst of color and texture that made the entire reception feel like a living, breathing tablescape.
Mixed textures, layered tones, and romantic candlelight created a dreamy setting that felt both curated and effortless — perfect for a spring or summer wedding in The Woodlands.
